To value a single-family residence (SFR) that is larger than 2.5 stories, go to page 3 of each of the 6 quality types in the SFR sections. There is a note which explains how to determine cost for SFRs greater than 2.5 stories.
If the square footage of the residence is larger than what is available on the data pages, Page 4 of every quality type has a Large Residence multiplier table, which can be used to determine cost on larger residences of each quality.
See Section F-10 & 11 to find Current Cost and Local Multipliers that can be used to trend costs to a current date or to adjust the costs by location. This section is updated quarterly so be sure to replace the pages when you receive your service updates.
